Lieberman: Israel will continue providing aid, but won't accept a single Syrian refugee
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman stressed Friday that while Israel will continue providing humanitarian assistance to Syrians fleeing the fighting between the Syrian army and rebels, it will not accept refugees.
"We'll be strict about maintaining the State of Israel's security interests," he wrote in a tweet.
"As always, we'd be willing to provide any humanitarian aid to civilians, women and children, but we will not accept a single Syrian refugee in our territory," he added in another tweet.
