Jordan condemns brief Temple Mount closure
The Jordanian government condemned the temporary closure of the Temple Mount on Friday, which was the result of rioting.
"This wrong behavior hurts the sanctity of the place and constitutes a violation of Israel's commitments and of international law," the Jordanian government said in a statement.
The government further said Jordan sees Israel as responsible for the security of the al-Aqsa mosque and for what happens in it.
