Israeli catches Leptospirosis after swimming in Golan infected creek

A 20-year-old man was diagnosed with Leptospirosis on Sunday, after swimming in a Golan Heights creek.

He was suffering flu-like symptoms, but a thorough examination at the Ziv Medical Center in Safed revealed Leptospirosis, a disease transmitted by rodent feces.
