Lieberman: Kerem Shalom to be reopened Wednesday if Gaza calm prevails
Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday afternoon that if the calm on the Gaza border continues, the Kerem Shalom border crossing will be opened on Wednesday morning.
In addition, the fishing zone off the coast of the strip will be expanded back to a distance of 9 miles from the shore.
Lieberman held a situation assessment Tuesday with IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot and other defense heads.
