Police arrests 5 Palestinians for allegedly smuggling drugs from Lebanon
Police arrested Thursday five suspected drug traffickers, who allegedly smuggled drugs from Lebanon to Israel.


During an operation in the village of Ghajar, near the border with Lebanon, three suspects attacked the policemen.


One of suspect threw a rock at a police officer which injured his eye socket. The officer was evacuated to Ziv Medical Center.


During the operation, 15 kilograms of hashish worth NIS 1.5 million were seized.
