CA sets October deadline to evacuate Bedouin village in West Bank

The Civil administration on Sunday told residents of Khan al-Ahmar, a Bedouin village in the West Bank slated for demolition, to clear their houses by Oct. 1, following the High Court of Justice's (HCJ) decision that the village was built without the legal permits required.

In addition, the HCJ rejected a petition filed against the demolition of the village.

An IDF spokeswoman for liaison agency with the Palestinians said no date had been set for demolition should the houses remain after the deadline.
