El Al to inspect Shabbat flight

El Al airline announced Monday its intention to form a committee that will examine the flight from New York to Israel Friday, which was delayed due to a snowstorm on the East Coast and landed in Athens to avoid desecrating Shabbat.

In a letter written by the company's CEO Gonen Usishkin, he notes that "some passengers emphasized the commotion on the flight, while others claimed that information given by El Al staff members was incorrect."
