IDF official: 'army is ready for war'

Brig. Gen. Uri Gordin, the commanding general of GOC Army headquarters, responded Wednesday to the Commissioner of Soldiers’ Complaint's claim that the army is not prepared for war.

"The IDF is ready for war ... all IDF commanders say this, from the chief of staff to various battalions' commanders." However, Gordin added, "we agree with a large part of the report, and are addressing criticism."
