Qatari money to families in Gaza delayed by Israel

Lebanese Al-Akhbar news paper reported Wednesday that Israel is withholding some of Qatar's aid money to Gaza because of the identity of some potential recipients of funds.

Qatar's envoy denies the report and says the delay stems from a desire to divert some of the funds to projects Qatar is promoting in the Gaza Strip. Hamas official ensure the distribution of stipends to families in need will be completed Wednesday or Thursday
