Unidentified assailants attacked vehicles in the Arab city of Kafr Qasem early Sunday, puncturing tires, spray-painting graffiti and damaging the windshield of a bus.

The graffiti daubed in the central Israel community included hate speech such as "Racism or Assimilation" (the word "assimilation" was misspelled in the graffiti), "Death to Arabs" and "Am Yisrael Chai" (the nation of Israel lives).

Last month, several vehicles were vandalized in the village of Yasuf, near the West Bank settlement of Ariel. The windows of the vehicles were smashed and damaged. The local police launched an investigation into the incident.

Two months ago, at least three unknown assailants entered the village of Hawara near Nablus, punctured tires and sprayed graffiti such as "corrupt government, when you will fight the enemy."

The Yesh Din organization, which works to preserve human rights in the Occupied Territories, said that graffiti had been daubed on several private homes and that eight vehicles were damaged.

A tomb in the village cemetery was also sprayed with a Star of David.
