IDF warns Assad will pay a 'heavy price' over attempted Iranian missile attack

IDF Spokesperson in Arabic Avichai Adraee warned that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will "pay a heavy price" for his continued aid to Iran on Syrian soil, after an attempt by pro-Iranian Shiite militias to launch a missile attack from Syria on Israel.

"We warn the regime of Bashar al-Assad that it will pay a heavy price for allowing the Iranians and Shiite militias to operate from within its territory, turning a blind eye and even cooperating with them," Adraee wrote in a Twitter post. "This thing is not hidden from us. You have been warned."
