OECD report: Israel lags behind despite greater investment in education

A new report published by OECD economic forum Tuesday shows that the amount of money invested per individual student in Israel is lower on average than in other developed countries, despite greater investment in education in the last decade.

The report also shows that investment in early childhood education in Israel is still low when compared to other western countries, Israeli classrooms are more crowded and high-school teachers are paid less than their counterparts in other OECD countries.
