Family of Israeli held in Gaza to meet with human rights groups in Geneva

The family of an Israeli of Ethiopian descent who went missing in Gaza in 2014 and is believed to be held captive by Hamas in the Strip, will fly Tuesday to Geneva to meet with human rights organizations.

Avraham Mengistu's family plans to call for intervention by the international community regarding the captives being held in Gaza Strip - Mengistu and Bedouin Israeli Hisham al-Sayed - and the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, two IDF soldiers who were killed during the war in Gaza in 2014.

The meeting between the family and the human rights groups was arranged by the Foreign Ministry and the Israeli Embassy in Switzerland, and is set to take place Tuesday.
