Gantz: Netanyahu failed; Israelis said no to incitement, yes to unity

Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz says political rival Benjamin Netanyahu failed in the second round of elections in six months that were called when the prime minister could not cobble together a coalition after April's elections.

"According to the apparent results, Netanyahu was unsuccessful in his mission," Gantz told supporters in Tel Aviv. "We, on the other hand, have proven that the idea called Blue and White, a venture we started a little over six months ago, has succeeded in a big way and is here to stay."

He added: "More than a million people said no to incitement and division, and yes to unity. No to corruption and yes to integrity."
