Jerusalem nursery teacher indicted after shaking baby, causing his death
Jerusalem Magistrate's Court indicted a nursery teacher on Sunday for negligent homicide of four-month-old baby in 2015 and fraudulently obtaining benefits.
According to the indictment bill, the teacher lifted the baby after he lost consciousness and shook him back and forth with his head slumped to wake him up.
As a result, the baby suffered extensive cerebral hemorrhage and retinal bleeding, which led to his death a week later.
It was also written that the teacher received a certificate authorizing her to attend to toddlers without attending her studies.
