Lapid: 'Netanyahu is leading us to a civil war'
Blue and White MK Yair Lapid heavily criticized on Monday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for refusing to resign despite being indicted in three corruption cases.
"Netanyahu cannot keep leading the State of Israel," said Lapid in a party faction meeting. "It's not only the indictment, it's what he's doing to us - his attacks on the rule of law and law officials, his attempt to tear us apart."
He's lost the elections, he has three serious indictments, he incites violence. In what country on earth would such a person remain even a single day in office?"
