Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Thursday approved mobilization of 2,000 reserve soldiers to be called on for duty by the end of July to assist in the campaign against the coronavirus crisis.
The reserve soldiers are expected to aid in enforcing isolation in restricted areas, staffing coronavirus hotels, assisting in information centers and reinforcing the Home Front Command headquarters.
