Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel was premature in returning its economy to full operations after the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Looking back on it as trial and error, we can say that that last step was premature," he says.
The prime minister said that there were multiple calls to reopen the economy, from people he said were now asking why the move happened so quickly.
"I take responsibility for this step, and I take responsibility for fixing it too," he said.
