Two Israelis pass away due to COVID-19, national death toll at 578

The Health Ministry reported Friday afternoon that two Israelis have succumbed to complications of COVID-19 since midnight, bringing the country's total coronavirus death toll to 578.
Since the ministry's last update, the number of patients in serious condition had risen from 358 to 374 and the number of patients on ventilators increased from 102 to 106.
