Hundreds gathered outside the French embassy in Tel Aviv on Thursday to protest recent remarks made by French President Emmanuel Macron which they claim were made against Islam and Muslims.
Macron recently pledged to fight "Islamist separatism", which he said was threatening to take over some Muslim communities in France after an Islamist militant beheaded a teacher who showed cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in a class on freedom of expression.
