Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with convicted spy Johnathan Pollard on Tuesday and told him the country was awaiting to receive him and his wife with open arms should they decide to move to Israel.
"we can offer you and your wife the best medical treatment," Netanyahu told pollard. Mrs. Pollard is suffering from cancer and undergoing treatment in New York.
Pollard was convicted of spying for Israel in the 1980s and was sentenced to life in prison. He was released on parole five years ago and had all limitations on his movements lifted on Friday, leaving him free to travel to Israel.
