Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin and extends good wishes ahead of Novy God, the Russian term for New Year’s.
"The two discussed the situation in Syria, developments in the region, and the actions needed to increase [regional] stability," the Prime Minister's Office said.
