Maccabi Healthcare Services, Israel's second largest health fund, announced on Tuesday that as of next week it will stop administering the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine until the supply is replenished.
With the exception of 100,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine that are expected to arrive this month, more shipments are due to arrive only in February.
Maccabi says it has enough supply to administer the second dose to those who had received the first jab.
