The Health Ministry Saturday evening reported that 7,808 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed on Friday.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic rose to 3,633.
Out of the 68,766 patients battling the disease, 964 are in serious condition, with 236 connected to ventilators.
With 121,757 tests conducted Friday, the contagion rate stands at 6.5%.
