Over 1.817 million Israelis got 1st dose of virus shot so far, Edelstein says

Some 1,817,000 Israelis have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine since the country launched its inoculation drive, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said Sunday morning, about 43,000 of them were vaccinated on Saturday alone.
Israel started administering the second dose of the shot on Saturday as Edelstein promised that further batches of the jab are expected to arrive in Israel this week.
