The Employment Service says 11,029 people have registered as jobless in the past 24 hours.
According to the service, a total of 110,263 people have registered as unemployed since the start of the third round of closures on December 27, with 50,337 of them coming since the lockdown was tightened last Thursday.
Of that number, 91,460 people have been placed on unpaid furlough.
