The Palestinian Authority is expected to receive the first shipment of 5,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday after it was given emergency authorization for use by the health ministry last week.
Palestinian officials requested and received Israeli government assistance in transferring the vaccines that were donated by Russia.
