Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said on Tuesday that a record number of vaccines were administered on Monday including both first and second doses.
"Israel now has 2.2 million people who have already received their first dose of the vaccine and 422,000 who have been given their second dose," he said, adding that 114,000 first doses of the vaccines were given and 72,000 second ones were administered on Monday.
