PM suggests extending general lockdown until month's end

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested on Tuesday to extend the nationwide lockdown, which is set to expire on Thursday, until the end of January.
The premier convened with Cabinet ministers to discuss whether to extend the lockdown by ten days or two weeks, until January 31 at midnight.
Health Ministry Director-General Prof. Hezi Levy said that officials will also discuss vaccinating high school students against COVID-19 later that week.
