U.S. President-elect Joe Biden's nominee to be secretary of state, Antony Blinken, said on Tuesday that the way to ensure Israel's future as a Jewish and democratic state and give the Palestinians the state they are entitled to is through the so-called two-state solution.
Blinken also said that finding a solution to the conflict is "very challenging" at the moment and it is hard to see near-term prospects to move on that.
