Tel Aviv University researchers develop new optical technology that will enable an automatic and immediate diagnosis of melanoma, a form of skin cancer.
The technology uses optical fibers to distinguish between benign and and malignant lesions on the skin in a non-invasive process in real time.
The technology can also distinguish between types of skin cancer.
