Or for that matter that there is a majority of straight upwardly mobile people in Tel Aviv who aren't "rich and vulgar". According to you no French people are buying property in Tel Aviv yet wherever I go in this city i see huge luxury apartment blocks going up all over the place from Ben Yehuda Street to Elat Street and you're telling me that they will be exclusively housed by gays i suppose. He speaks through the Law to show us how far short we are of His Holiness, today He speaks to us through His Son (and even through one another because He says that man is created in the image of God). Sin robs us. I would venture to say that being a homosexual in God's eyes is wrong to Him, because He knows it will only hurt you. He created you with the love you are looking for, and wants to see you prosper...He doesn't want to see you hurt by something that can't fill the need that you have, or die an untimely death from a sexual disease. He wants to see you be blessed in all areas of life, and succeed. I agree too, that we should treat one another with respect and dignity, no matter what our religion or preference. He can save us from our sins. I worked with with a homosexual man. I remember how happy he was and excited when he had a partner. I also remember how sad and hurt he was when his partner left him for a new guy, and then he just seemed to continue in the vicious cycle of highs and lows, like drugs, which promise everything, and deliver nothing. That is the way that the devil works. When it is said and done, he promises much but leaves you wanting and famished with gravel in your mouth. Everyone needs God, not just you. Yeshua (God's Son) (Jesus) says that He comes to bring us life more abundantly. He blesses marriage and family and children, he wants us to be heads of our home, raise our children, and this is one of His outlets that He uses for us to grow into more mature people. This is disgusting news... I am a Bibleteacher and I always call the land of Israel "The Holy Land", when I am talking to my pupils. There is nothing holy or healthy about this idea. As we know from the Bible that two-thirds of Israelians shall perish just before Messiah comes/returns, I would not feel safe to live or even stay in Tel Aviv, under these circumstances. Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed by the Almighty, because they lived similar unholy lives.

Who cares what being gay is all about...i don't! I am just saying that you dont need to flaunt your gayness just as i shouldn't flaunt my straightness. Kelly, it is very sad that you think only gay people have AIDS. In the most AIDS ravaged countries it is not the gay population that has the highest percentages but rather the straight population. BTW we do have good hospitals and unlike in the USA everyone has some form of health insurance. To all those Bible/Tenach thumpers, I would like to see where it says lesbianism is unholy. If you study all the jewish texts you just might find the opposite. (for women) I find it sad that so many religous people are full of such hatred. What an amazing example of love you show us. In Canada we just live our lives like everyone else - dating, getting married, buying a house, adopting kids, working 80 hours a week to pay off the mortgage... i got the impression that in Israel things are very different - most gay people have to hide their sexuality even from their friends. How very sad. Though i still think that Israel is a great place to be and Israeli guys are the best looking in the world! Well, all we can hope for is that more places in the world will become like Canada - where everyone regardless of who they are are treated with dignity and respect.

With all of the great minds in Israel, I ask is this the best that you can do to develop tourism? As a Catholic I believe Israel has always tried to do the right thing according to Gods plan for its people... it has suddenly taken a wrong turn... The christian people in the USA will point to this as weakness where we once looked for inspiration in the land our Lord and Savior once walked... Israel has led the fight on terrorism, now it distracts us all with this waste of resources.
