Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (06.08.06)
for maintainence than anything I have ever bought in my life, overpriced crap. Cars good enough for the british, though. Two swedish cars were proof that I should never buy anything but a Honda again and I haven't.
4. Wine from Golan Heights
Poppy   (06.08.06)
Well said Shalom Blayer
5. Californian wine
The wino ,   Mexico City   (06.08.06)
So... wine from California is in fact from conquered Mexican land! Wine from Australia is from conquered Aboriginal land?
6. ridicolous
shimon ,   madrid, spain   (06.08.06)
There are just two ways to react to this kind of phenomena: to cry or to laugh. It's better to laugh, 'cause stupidity doesn´t deserve our tears. With all respect to the swedes, they are a northern people living in the clouds, with no idea about international politics, since they were defeated by the russians in the eighteenth century and limited to home affairs. They think that world is made of love and peaceful joint-smokers, that Syria is a democratic country and Israel has really no reason to occupy the Golan in order to assure its own secuity, and probably they also believe mr. Assad deserves a Nobel prize, just like El Baradei. So, just treat it as a comedy: good luck swedish friends, have a good time in you wooden country playing with teddy-bears. It's a wonderful and comfortable life, may G-d make us have such a one in Eretz Israel!
7. #2, wakeup sir
Guest ,   Ramallah, Palestine   (06.08.06)
Are you angry because the Sweden saying the truth, Golan is occupied territory sir, even if this fact angers you!
8. If it's Jewish it's evil
Margie ,   Tel Aviv   (06.08.06)
Take it as a motto and you will be saved many hours of reading about boring bored lying pronouncements.
9. To #1 Ellen Prescott
mike ,   rishon le zion   (06.08.06)
Dear Ellen, What exactly is your problem? Why do you always indulge in all this incessant and obsessive Israel-bashing in your Ynet talkbacks? Do you for one minute imagine that you are assuming some sort of moral superiority? Your comments reveal quite a large degree of ignorance about what is going on here. Perhaps you should come and see for yourself to learn the facts even if you claim that you have been here before. Your drivel is really exasperating.........
10. I always knew Ellen aka Secret Muslim
NTI ,   Red Chili   (06.08.06)
Convert (kitman) to be a stupid muslim. Go, eat some pork and clear your brain.
11. Why get angry?
Ram ,   London   (06.08.06)
So what if we Jews have people who do not like us? We have a few friends and many enemies, the same as some of us experienced in the school playground, especially those who were academically gifted. If only Jews would unite to face this barrage of attacks on our people it would make life easier. #2 is right, forget IKEA, Volvo, Saab etc. Also by spreading the word, you will have a lot of sympathisers of Jews boycotting them. Sweden is a country whose existenece is not very prominent in people's minds, so every now and then they act in a manner to draw attention. Many Swedes profess not to agree with their governments policies. Lets hear their voices! Regardless of all, Israel is diplomatic, strong and successful. When people will be ready to treat Jews as they do other people then we can make the extra effort. Besides, what's wrong with drinking our own wine, amongst the best in the world?
12. to # 2 Golan Heights is Syrian
Jasmine ,   Fr   (06.08.06)
why do you people signal such moves from Sweden or anyo ther country as anti-semitic or anti-Jews? Golan Heights is a Syrian land Occupied in 1976 war. the polpulation their speak arabic-syrian.
13. Israeli labels for Swedish products
Kate ,   London   (06.08.06)
"This product was produced in 'neutral' Sweden, a nation which collaborated with the Nazis and gave protection to innumerable Nazi war criminals"
14. I will by more!
Mattias ,   Sweden   (06.08.06)
Its good with that label! I never used to like wine very much, but now i will buy and drink more from the Golan Heights. Some of us still remember UN declaration 242... Its not our fault our governmental controlled wine and beer shop is a puppet! Remember Raoul Wallenberg! Cheers and Shalom from Stockholm!
15. Jasmine, are you for real?
Efrat ,   Israel   (06.08.06)
Go learn your facts before posting!
16. Sweden's Whining
Rachel ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.08.06)
By all means let us re-label all wines sold in Israel from Sweden as "Wine manufactured by Anti-Semites," if Sweden ever makes a wine, that is. Who cares what a country that has not been involved in a war for over two hundred years thinks of another country's policies, political or otherwise?
17. But no labels on Sudanese goods? Syrian? Chinese?
howard ,   pacific coast, usa   (06.08.06)
Syria occupied all of Lebanon for decades. China occupies Tibet today. Sudan just killed 200,000 civilians in an attempted genocide that goes on today. No labels for these countries?
18. The self-righteous Europeans are blind
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's stables   (06.08.06)
The world is burning underneath, radical Islamists are preparing a third world war, Muslims in their countries suddenlly lift their heads, European cities are covering up with burkas and hijabs, muazins are replacing cultural centers and dance clubs, suicide bombings and Islamist attacks on anything representing progression are a dailly happenning and what's bothering the Europeans is that there are wines produced in territory conquered in a defensive war in a part of the world which they probably dont even know where it is???
19. To # 7
Avraham ,   Netivot, Israel   (06.08.06)
The Swedish people are a bunch of fools. You, Sir, are living on arab occupied Jewish land in Ramalla. The Golan is Israeli territory as well. All of YESHA is Jewish terrotory, there is no such people as "Palestinians", it is a fabrication of lies. Jordan was created a Palestinian state by the UN. Move there with all your friends.
20. To # 12
Avraham ,   Netivot, Israel   (06.08.06)
Spoken like a true french islamic jerk. Go drink some more wine!
21. #9
Talula Belle ,   Israel   (06.08.06)
Why? because she's a fat lonely old woman without a life who just comes to this site to irritate people. The woman (if it is a woman) is totally cluesless, she never has anything to say, just sad one liners full of hate. She can kiss us where the sun doesn't shine. On the wine issue: Sweden are pathetic. On another note, Golan Flam wine is just amazing!!!
22. Jasmine
Mike ,   Haifa,Israel   (06.08.06)
yes, and southern France is Muslim land get off it now, dip ****t. Also, who started the war in '76??? Losers like Syria need to shut up. Plus eat this one liberal shmuck, the arabs in the golan have more rights in Israel than they do in Syria as Palastians or Druze.
23. WAR OF 1976?
OFER1965   (06.08.06)
DO LEARN SOME HISTORY.....LOL
24. Look...
Jacob ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (06.08.06)
At the end of the day, it is bewildering that people can try to assert that the Golan Heights are not occupied Syrian territory. Prior to 1967, they were part of Syria proper; the Syrians had access to the Sea of Galilee. Under international law, UN Resolution 242 calls for withdrawal from territory occupied in the recent conflict, i.e. the Golan Heights. General Moshe Dayan has himself admitted in an interview made public in 1997 that it was a mistake to occupy the area. Barak's peace overtures with Assad in 1999/2000 were about the Israeli return of occupied land; questions existed only as to where the border went along the Galilee, the fact that it was occupied was not in doubt. As for continued occupation on security grounds, early warning stations were deemed acceptable security guarantees by the Israelis in these discussions. Read Ahron Bregman's Elusive Peace, or any book on the subject for that matter, it's all there. Also, as a Swede who is committed to a just two state solution, I am angered and upset by the fact that any questioning or criticism of an Israeli policy amounts to anti-Semitism. Previous articles concering Sweden have recieved such hateful and vicious talkbacks that I considered finding other sources for Israeli news. There has to be room for reasoned argument without resorting to unfounded accusations of hate. I find extremism of any form, Islamic, Jewish, or Christian, very dangerous. Nothing is more dangerous than to cease to think independently. Reasoned debate based on facts, please, not hate-mongering.
25. To #2 and #3
wille ,   stockholm, sweden   (06.08.06)
Since a couple of years both SAAB and Volvo is owned by the american companies Ford and GM. Boycott Abba instead. :)
26. Israeli wines
shoshi ,   Israel   (06.08.06)
So - who cares what information Sweden puts on the shelves & store signs. It only shows their ignorance of historical facts. People who know good wine already know that the Golan Winery for years has been winning medals in France for their excellent Golan & Gamla wines. The best defense is a good offense - and the Golan Winery has already done that by proving it's one of the best in the world... their product sells, no matter what's written on the shelves.
27. YOU FIGHT A WAR AND LOOSE.....THATS LIFE
Danielle ,   centre   (06.08.06)
28. Once again, Eurabia gets it wrong.
David ,   Boston, USA   (06.08.06)
How is it, when Eurabia and Arabs kick Jews from their homes of hundreds if not thousands of years, thats OK (which it isnt under the Geneva Convention), but when Jews DONT move Arabs, Eurabia calls it occupied? How about how Eurabia (mostly Britain) can steal Jewish land from all over Palestine to create Arab home, yet when Jews buy land at above market prices, it isnt good enough. Its blatant racism. This isnt about international law. IF it were there would be two states. Israel and Jordan Palestine, with the border snaking through Judea and Samaria. Golan was part of Israel in early maps, not part of Syria. Why make it part of Syria now? It has been Israeli longer than it has been Syrian. Syria has no more claim to it than Israel.
29. Jews win war, Arabs thrive, Arabs win..no more Jews
David ,   Boston   (06.08.06)
No Jews in Jordan Palestine by law. Think about this.
30. OMG! My Ex-Government is doing it again ...
kawika ,   munich, germany   (06.08.06)
How many mistakes can this government make in just a little over 6 weeks, untill the people will realize that the 400k or so muslims in that country is slowly, but successfully, forming a lobby against israel. i'm 100% sure the person responsoble at "systembolaget" is muslim. there is no doubt. i am swedish and as a swedish citizen and jew, i can say that the swedish governments "neutrality" is nothing but hypocrisy and only valid as long as it serves the government. oh and by the way, the swedes forget very fast about military cooperation between israel and sweden and they forgot very fast that they where #1 state in harboring refugee terrorist. maybe that's the masterplan after all. everyone knows that the top-terrorists need a safe place to live and that they are rich. hamas already got swedish visa!
