Air burst is when a shell is designed with a shortened fuse. So that it burst before it hits the ground. While no one has stated whether these were airburst or not, they still don't explain some very simple things. 1. The bodies being so well intact. 2. A small crater being, had these been airburst there would have been a very large and very shallow crater in the sand. Not a small one, seen in the video with a metal plate. 3. If it was airburst, I must ask how the hell did the girl survive? The blast radius would have been much larger than if the artillery hit the ground. And she would have been a splatter. The Palestinians were warned beforehand by leaflets to stay away form the area of the incident since Qassam rockets were launched from that vicinity and the IDF were responding to that launch sites. well, here I outline what heppened at the beach at that day. The family went for a picnic in the noon of that day. In the same time, there were artilary shelling by Israel aimed to some targets far away from the beach. One of those shells did not exploded and landed in open field. The palestinian took that one, and shoot it (using some home-made techniques) at the family on the beach.
