Good question. I think many Arabs see themselves as victims so that any negative behaviour from them such as suicide bombings or firing missiles at civilians is acceptable in the name of occupation and resistance. Western countries see them as primitive people who can be hurt but that not much positive can be or should be expected from them.

Yes, it's horrible what happened yesterday... but I am certain Hezbollah is happy. This makes them look great. Bottom line is they were using Qana as a base to fire rockets/missiles at Israel - and Hezbollah knew there were civilians there. Did everyone forget that Hezbollah has fired, what, 2000 rockets/missiles at Israel in the past two weeks, with the simple goal of killing Israelis? What about the Israeli kids and women that have been killed? I certainly don't see Hezbollah regretting this or being deeply saddened by this. The fact Israel bombed civilians is disturbing. The fact there were many children in a warzone (both sides knew this WAS a warzone) is disturbing. The fact Hezbollah is housing amunition within civilian buildings that MIGHT explode is disturbing. The fact Israel bombed the house at 00:30, but it collapsed only later, giving the adults inside the house time to leave the building and check the damage from the outside is disturbing. Only later did the building collaps killing all inside. Why did the adults not evacuate children from a bombed building when there was time? The house collapsed in the night, but aidworkers arrived only at 8:00 is disturbing. Aid workers said the roads were bombed, but the roads were repaired? and also didn't hinder the dozens of journalists from arriving there simultaneously. At 8:00 one sees survivors, families leaving the area by foot. Have they been waiting there for 7 hours? The fact newspapers worldwide announce over 60 dead, 38 of whom children, but the Lebanese Red Cross reports 28 dead, 19 of whom children is disturbing. The fact the Lebanese are using the dead children for propaganda is disturbing. The pilot who bombed the terrorist vipers nest in Qana, was sent by OUR government and OUR defense army to defend my and YOUR children. By affirming such a perverse and abnormal statement, like: "….I hope that you are happy about your job but I tell you you will never forget the pictures of children killed….." you are weakening OUR just and moral attitude and strengthening our enemies ! And, where exactly does the Koran state that: "…peace is the best thing in the world .." ??
