First point.. I haven't seen the pamphlet.. so just going on hearsay.. it seems to me that ''Jews for Jesus'' used bad judgement and poor ethics in using the name of someone that they didn't have permission to use. Legally.. since Jackie Mason is a public figure, I'm not sure where this will go in the courts, but that depends on what the laws are and I'm content to let the courts do their job. Now..on the point of Jesus being the Messiah... I understand perfectly that very few Jews accept him as such. Being a Christian, I was at first, a little upset at Jackie for wanting to sue them. But after reading the story, I understand why . Jew's for Jesus should have asked his permission before ever using his image or anything else. The Jewish people are your "neighbors," the ones you are supposed to love as they are. Yet, you won't see any Jew trying to convert you to Judaism, because Judaism is strong enough to have other faiths in the neighborhood. Therefore, Judaism is not a threat to Christianity -- or any other religion for that matter. JFJ, however, not only targets Jews for conversion, but does so by deception. This is lack of respect and a major sign of weakness. And the way the "Jews" for Allah organization is targeting also JFJ followers, you'd better stop worrying about the Jewish people and start defending your faith from Islam. I fully understand Mr. mason's upset. I am a Christian myself, in fact I am a Lebanese Christian. I had been on mission in the past and was involved in many countries. What ticked me off most of the time was that my fellow Christians always used Celebrities and well known figures in order to promote our faith. I have no problem if the Celebrities in question were real converts and had given their approval, but as it may seem here, I always figured that all this was done without consent from the figures in question... As a Christian, I believe that one should ask for the persons' consent and approval before using their picture or name wherever; moreover, I do not see the importance of using a celebrity to promote Christianity.. what does a convert celebrity have to offer to any potential adept? nothing. If a person is to believe in Jesus being the Messiah, it has to be throught the Bible and utterly by faith alone, and not because they happened to like a Christian man or woman...

Thank you for the piece of advice but I love Jesus (I have been a follower of Jesus for about 50 - 60 years). Islam and Judaism are no threat to my faith. You see, I have become " hardened " because of their fiercely rejecting my Jesus as the Messiah (Jews in particular as Muslims admit Him as a prophet). Let God show us who is really His Messiah !
