What are you and the Catholic Church doing to help Jews in France?! Subject: The enemy is in France... Once again, the real news is conveniently not being reported as it should. At present, in my Hebrew class, there is a woman who recently made aliya (immigration to Israel) from Paris with her family. I have spoken with her about anti-Semitism in France and she confirmed that it is very, very serious and getting worse every week. She and her family fled Paris and came to Israel, fearing for their lives - literally. To give you an idea of what's going on in France where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about 600,000 Jews, here is an email that came from another Jew still in France. He writes, "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing." Nowhere have the flames of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France: In Lyon, a car was rammed into a synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier, the Jewish religious center was firebombed; so were synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles; so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently. A Jewish sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails, and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris, the words "Dirty Jew" were painted. I always believed that being jewish is a national identity, religion is something you identify with i. e. i am german and a christian, but i am still german, so why can't someone who by nationality is jewish not be a Jew yet a believing Jew?

I could not agree more. Anyone even remotely familiar with the differences between Judaism and Christianity knows that Christians accept Jesus as Messiah while Jews do not. Jews for Jesus deviates from Christian Bible doctrine which states categorically that: "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." (Galations 3:26-29) This was written by none other than Saul of Tarsus (AKA St Paul the Apostle) who, before his conversion was the quintessential Pharisee. (Called a "Pharisee among Pharisees.") He well understood that "Jew for Jesus" is not only an oxymoron. It is moronic. The least a proselytizer could do when evangelizing a Jew is to be honest about the full implications of conversion.
