Steiner, so long as we both agree that accepting the Arab Plan constitutes a "leap of faith." Without evidence, we can only have faith in the Arabs' desire to secure Israel's borders. I do not live in Israel and so have an easier time accepting Arab promises to secure Israel's borders. My life does not depend on it.
Mark, you evaded my question (what evidence do you have to support your claims about peace) by listing several alternatives without any argument about why they could work. Of course, no man's land, walls, and checkpoints are the methods du jour. A DMZ makes sense if you believe the Arabs should not have a military. But for "peacekeepers," you name the IDF strategy.
