Sorry I haven't responded to your postings. After reading several G-2 Bulletins about al-Qeada having two or more small atom bombs inside America, I have been very busy helping people dig expedient bomb shelters and trying to get ready for the "American Herosima". This fits very nicely into "the Call to Islam" scenerio. First the call, then warnings, then war, then submission of the offending country. Islam has used this method for centuries. I just read your posting to Steven. Maybe there is a chance we can work together for peace. Please belive me, Americans do not want to destroy the Middle East. When the USSR invaded Afghanistan, Americans supported the Mujahadeen with weapons & aid. When Saddam invaded Kuait, America mobilized an allied force, and spilt some of it's own blood to liberate that small country. When the Balklands erupted into war, we asked Europe to handle this. After all, this was a Europian war, was it not? After seeing Europe do nothing, we wept at the photos of Bosnian dead. America helped stop that war, and is still there to this day to keep war from breaking out again. The invasion of Afghanistan was the war on terror. We drove out the Taliban and tried to arrest Bin Ladin. You are obviously an educated woman. Would you have liked to have grown up under the Taliban, not being allowed to learn to read or write? Afghans rule Afghanistan today, not Americans. We very much desire to leave that country as soon as the Afghan government can defend itself. It is well documented how Saddam and his government mass murdered many of it's own people. America sincerely wanted to free Iraq's people of Saddam and let them set up their own government. Very sadly, it isn't working well at all. The Iraqis are throwing away this chance to have a democratically elected Islamic government. If it doesn't work out soon, American money and troops will go home. Then the Iraqis will fall under another tyrant, or group of tyrants. You think I am brainwashed? Okay, I think you are brainwashed, too! If people like you and me can set aside our prejudgements and work together, maybe we can have peace again.

I will say again what I have said many times before.. NOTHING JUSTIFIES BURNING CHURCHES, MURDER, OR VIOLENCE .. if those cartoons were in a paper that no one reads.. and if the were as unimportant as you're trying to imply.. then why did the Danish government refuse to apologize?? if a few radicals picked them out to make a big deal out of them then why did Norway, France and other European countries publish them later on.. I believe in freedom of speech but their are limits.. when your freedom hurts others then this means that you have tresspassed onto the freedom of others.. the man you are talking about is not any man.. he is the Spiritual leader of Catholics all over the world.. I agree with you that our opinions are quite opposite.. but I'm very certain that we could find a place where our beliefs would meet.. I guess the fact that we both want peace is enough as a start... I have come to the conclusion that you are Christian and not Jewish.. am I right?.. I am Syrian.. (America's next target I guess.). regarding Indonesia.. what I said is that Islam was spread in Indonesia ( the largest Muslim country) without anyone being killed.. I am talking about centuries ago.. of course I am not in a position to judge whether those stories are accurate or not.. but if we take things logically.. I don't think that in a country where 90% are Muslims and 10% are Christians .. there will be a problem of those Christians being attacked all the time.. I would expect those 10% to be a quiet minority.. what I mean is that it doesn't make sense that 10% of a certain population would be attacked daily.. one might expect such an incident to take place once every few years(if it happens).. I might believe such a thing happening in Lebanon where Muslims and Christians are nearly equal in number.. if you ask me I don't see why there should be any problems between Muslims and Christians living in one country.. we usually live side by side with Christians and we hardly ever think of our differences.. anyway I hope those stories are not true.. .

Yes, I am Christian. Eight years ago I went to a conference for missionaries. At this conference I met a group called "The Voice of the Martyrs" (www.persecution.com). It's mission is to serve the persecuted Church. At first I was shocked at what I saw and could not believe their stories. I decided to independantly verify their truthfulness. I spent a lot of time doing that. What I discovered, in many cases, is that V.O.M. had actually "toned down" their stories to make them more acceptable to American readers. I have found Compass Direct the most reliable web-site for such news. That is why I have come to sites like Ynet, looking for the truth. I imagine you can show me sites that show how Muslims have been persecuted, too. In 1868, a group called the Klu Klux Klan (KKK) was formed. They calimed to be Christians. They did horrible things of terror in the name of Jesus. They became very powerful and ran many state governments in America. Today, after a long fight, they are defeated! Anyone caught doing such acts of intolerance is in for a jail sentence and public shame. Today, Islam must do the same thing, it must stop the "lunatics" as you called them from defaming Islam. American citizens don't want war! We don't want our sons and daughters to die. Lynne, I certainly don't want to see your countrymen die. I don't think the US will invade anyone else, unless provoked.
