Like I said before, trust is gone and Israel will no longer act unilaterally and will demand securities. That should answer your question about Syria and Lebanon. There are people who think that the 12th July attack was carried out on Lebanese soil, well, it was not. Hezb crossed the international border to attack a border patrol, those soldiers were not engaged in some military operation, just a routine border patrol. Moreover, I think IDF completed Lebanon pull-out. We saw them (on TV) sealing the borders. If you are refering to Shabaa Farms, i think they are pending negotiations, but no Israelis are living there. Just as you cannot negotiate on behalf of the Palestinians, I cannot negotiate for the israelis, because it is not within my power. Most Israelis are willing to trade the territories for real peace, but not the kind that shoots rockets into Israel or crosses the border to kill and kidnap troops. Meantime I see no peace initiative coming from Gaza, just daily pounding with qassams, that even the israeli media hardly report. But if you are visiting ynet you can see the daily reports of IDF apprehending would-be suicide bombers and also the Qassams. So these are not fantasies, rather our daily lot. I hope this answers your questions. I would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for taking the time to listen and consider our point of view, NL, Mis Muffet, myself. I'll be checking in every now and then to see if you posted anything. If not, I'm sure we'll meet again on other fora. Stay safe!

Good and thoughtful response to Lynne. I hope she reads it. Even though I disagree with her about a lot, I'm glad to hear her viewpoint. She expresses herself in a calm and reasoned way and that allows for a civilized discussion.
