At first I thought maybe Carter, from his sense of pride, was just trying to put himself in a more positive light having been a failed president by writing his book. He was elected probably only because of the Nixon scandal at the time. (How he was nominated is still a mystery to me.) Now with this ridiculous statement that missiles fired by the Palestinians are not terror, I no longer believe he is credible in any way. I cannot believe someone who was a president, no matter how weak and inept, could actually make such a statement. He is an old man now and must be suffering from a loss of reality.
