61. My Condolences
Nick ,   USA   (03.07.08)
My condolences to those Families for the loss of their loved ones, both in Jerusalem and Gaza...It is so sad to see the young generations pay the price of their leaders and religious extremist. I know Its not easy to suddenly lose a child or loved one, its like somebody ripped your heart out of your chest with no prior warning. Regardless of reason, whether its a so claimed Terror Attach (Jihad Attack) or Army firing at civilians by Mistake or retaliation for missile attach or whatever anybody wants to call it.. All these actions and name calling from both sides only sparks hatred and increase the call for revenge on either side..so the cycle continues. This has been going on for generations between Israel and Palestinians , before Hamas, Before Jihad, or Fatah before Kadima, Labor and Likud. So Please stop looking for who to blame and start looking for resolution to this blood shed...Humanity is begging for it.

Mike Cato ,   USA   (03.08.08)
It is my understanding ,from reading an Italian newspaper, that No representative of Omert's governemnt attended the funerals. Is this true? It is also my understanding that PM (BWAHAHAHA) Olmert has yet to officially offer words of condoleance, sorrow, regret or even comfort to any of the families of the young victims of arab terror. Is this true? If the above two statements are true, then the israeli people have no other choice but to overthrow Olmert and his gand as soon as possible; put them in prison or exile them permanently from Israel. Following the very wise Turkish plan, the military will take over the reins of government, launch a final total war against the enemy.A representative democracy will be re-installed once the dust has settled.

" Your targeted asassinations are government sponsored terror and murder." You cannot compare targeted assassinations of terroist leaders to the acts terrorists commit. Yes, Israel does target terrorists, but we do NOT target Palestinian civilians. Innocent people always die in war, it cannot be helped. We never take joy in having to kill people, but it seems like they do, however. None of the leaders Israel has assassinated was guilty of anything less than acts of terror, what were these Yeshiva students guilty of? One more thing: since you claim to be from the "Civilized world", perhaps you wouldn't mind telling us exactly where that is? America? Where you kill unborn children? Canada? Where you allow gays to marry and destroy the wonderful institution it is? Britain? France? Russia? We may not be as "civilized" as you, but you are certainly not above us!

The amount of children the orthodox are having. If you compare it to the secular, it is probably 8 to 1. This means that soon the orthodox will be a majority and vote for Israel to be a Jewish State not a secular, arab state like the leftist want. If you deny your religion then you have no right to live in a Jewish State because the religion makes us who we are. Do we look like a race to you?

68. Our “partner in peace.”
Jean Van Daem   (03.08.08)
Mahmoud Abbas - Israel's partner in peace talks and the head of Fatah and the Palestinian Authority - enjoys a reputation as a "moderate," largely in light of his juxtaposition with the arch-terrorists of his rivals/allies in Hamas. However, he now says that terrorism and violence against Israel are actually the preferred approach, and certainly need not be ruled out in the future. "At present," Abbas told the Jordanian newspaper A-Doustour, "I am against an armed struggle against Israel because we can't do it, but in the coming stages, things may change. I do not rule out a return to the way of armed struggle against Israel," Abbas said in the Wednesday night interview. Lets face reality : Their goal is Israel’s destruction and that is why nothing has worked and nothing will work as to the roots of “Palestinian” nationalism it is explained at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/02/communist-roots-of-palestinian_342.html

Although I do not agree with #54, I also think that your argument is invalid. Stick to the topic. Do not deflect.

Lina ,   USA   (03.08.08)
These young men were victims. You obviously support Palestinian terrorists and use any opportunity to demonize Israel. Crawl back to Londonistan and see if you can grow a soul.

The state was founded with the blood of 6000 mostly seculars , if not anti religious Braves . Without the seculars there would be no Israel . The Orthodox NEVER contributed much to Israel . So who has'nt the right to decide how to manage Israel ?
72. Mike Cato , was Bush put in prison ?

after catrina ? Do you call his ministers a gang ? Did you write such tb in a US paper ?
73. #71 good point, but...
u.s.   (03.08.08)
there is a reason why those secular chose Israel and not Africa. Without reference to our history, there would be no reason to have come to Israel. We certainly don't want to define ourselves as "The victims of the Shoah." Are we not more than the casualties of European anti anti-semitism? Nor do we want to define ourselves as a race, since, after all, just look at us! Maybe you can say, "we all have a common root." But don't we all, according to biological scientists, have a common human root in Africa? How "common" are we talking here? "The Orthodox NEVER contributed much to Israel" this doesn't make much sense to me. The kids at the Mercaz Harav yeshiva eventually serve in the IDF. Is military service considered no help to Israel? When you look to Jerusalem, who is responsible for the building of the temple? The secular? Why is the wall there to begin with if not for religious reason. Our history is religious history. Unless you say we came home to Israel, we merely kicked the Arabs out of these deserted lands. And coming home means to the home that was promised in the Torah. But then again I guess it depends upon what you see the capital of Israel being: Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.

For me there is only one capital : Jerusalem , never considered T.A. to be it . For me there is a difference between religion and history . This land belongs to us , HISTORICALLY . Our history is not only religious , it's the History of the Jewish people . But today's Israel was build mostly , as i said , by the seculars , certainly not the ultra Orthodox . You maybe know that when Ben Gurion agreed to exempt the Yeshiva students from serving IDF , they were only some hundreds . So they could not contribute very much . And i shall not talk about the ultra orthodox , who not only did'nt contribute at all , but OPPOSED it .
