The reality is that Samir Kuntar was tried in a court of law, had a competent defence counsel, and was presumed innocent until proven guilty. He was proven guilty, on the basis of testimony from several eyewitnesses, and sentenced to 542 years in jail. The time for giving him the benefit of the doubt is long past. His victims, including the 4-year-old girl, didn't get the benefit of the doubt, did they? There was no emotion whatsoever in his conviction and sentencing. It's all a matter of public record.
