There are certain lines in the sand which are not to be crossed, and the deliberate murder & mutilation of one's family in one of them. If your family wound up on up on the receiving end of that kind of pizza parlor yellow dog cowardice, could you "let it go"? Others might settle for wringing their hands, or crying themselves to sleep, but I for one, could not. There are always ways to collect on debts which must be settled, legally or not. My own family was heavily involved in IRA activities over in Ireland decades ago, and a truly dark event occurred to the family that simply could not be excused, or written off with a military or political rationalization. It took time & no little effort, but those responsible were finally tracked down and the debt was finally collected in a rather heavy manner. I wish the Israeli families much success in laying hands on the creep trash who pulled that stunt.

I would agree with you, if the playing fields were level. Give the Palestinians F16s and modern tanks with artillery and they would not resort to desperate acts. Well this is a quote from 'Hezbollah: The changing face of terrorism' by American Professor Judith Palmer Harik that discredits this theory. This quote was in reference to the Israeli withdrawal from the security zone in South Lebanon back in 2000. Professor Harik says: "The Israelis and SLA partisans wanted to get out quickly and safely. Hezbollah couldn't do much to punish its enemies on their way out of Lebanon, because crowds of villagers running ahead of their fighters in many areas got in the way."
