1. Of course Obama deserves the Nobel Prize
Shalom   (12.10.09)
Jimmy Carter received the Nobel Prize and so did Arafat. Obviously the Nobel Prize goes to the biggest anti-Semites. Who is a better choice than Obama?
2. he doesn't deserve to be USA president
ghostq   (12.10.09)
let alone get a prize for lack of initiatives. even the release of 3 Americans prisoners from Iran jail he failed to do he let Bill do it and thanked Bill for the work he was suppose to do by himself.
3. and he's snubbing the king of Norway
kate b ,   uk   (12.10.09)
by cutting short his visit, because of course there is no-one more important than obummer.
4. the escalation in afghanistan is a
AY_Lamb ,   Globestan   (12.10.09)
disappointment but, leveling accusations of antisemitism against the President is absurd. He's just unable to compete with the defense establishment. McChrystal testimony before congress I stopped watching when he said "breathing room" and compared counter-insurgency to politics. Richard Nixon put the whole proposition in the the most concise terms ever "America is a Plutocracy"
5. Nobel Peace Prize
Wise Saba ,   Netivot   (12.10.09)
The Nobel Peace Prize committee lost all respectability when they awarded the prize to Rabin, Peres & Arafat. There hasn't been one respectable winner since then.
6. Obama good at speeches. Tachlis? uhhh we dunno!
JPS ,   Efrat   (12.10.09)
I'm just another global citizen amazed that Obama is getting the prize for having given a few speeches and for having gotten elected. Oh boy. Exciting? Not. Weird? Definitely. Should Obama get up on stage and firmly but politely decline the prize? Of course. However, like most politicians at his level, his ego gets in the way of doing the right thing. Shame on the Nobel committee for this blunder. Shame on Obama for accepting a blunder.
7. #2 he does not deserve to be US President
Glenn Beck ,   NY   (12.10.09)
more than that the question is that he may not even be qualified to serve as POTUS as he has yet to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was born in the USA. He has paid more than a million dollars to have all records sealed. This in light of his Grandma Sarah Obama's testimony that she was present in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born
8. #3 small correction
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (12.10.09)
He may be snubbing the King of Norway, but he went out of his way to bow to the King of Saudi Arabia. He is also the first US president to bow to the Emperor of Japan.
9. If it's good for Arafat, it's good for Hussein Obama
(12.10.09)
10. then thing is
ghostq   (12.10.09)
he is socialist and try so hard to shove socialism down to the American throughts, he kiss up to Russia, but the shocking part his way of diplomacy didn't achive nothing even as socialist, some how he failed to press the right button in Russia, if there is a point to kiss up to communist country at least achive something anything, pointles hug in politics world can only means that the leader is a fool. does American pity fools since the 80's I am not sure :P
11. This gentleman says it just like it is.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (12.10.09)
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president. Consult : http://xrl.us/bgeewc
12. As if we care what you think of our pres.
Ben ,   USA   (12.10.09)
Doesn't matter what you guys think here. Like it or not,he is our president. And yes,if he decides to pull your leash, you will fall back like the good pet you are. Oh,and guess what,he will get re elected. Wanna bet on it?

14. To # 1 & 5
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (12.10.09)
Stop using "anti-semitism" to influence world public opinion. The Nobel Peace Prize was as much good to Jimmy Carter & Anwar Sadat & " Yasser Arafat " as it was good to the late Israeli premier Menachem Begin whose blood-thirsty spirit and blood-stained hands kept him on the British " most-wanted list " for his role in blowing up the British H.Q. in King David Hotel in 1946 and the massacre of all the unarmed inhabitants of the arab village of " Deir Yassin " in 1948 . That arab village has since been named " Giv'at Shaul " ,a Jewish name meant to erase its arab name & origin ... !
15. Correction...
(12.10.09)
"anti-war - RACISTS, PRO ISLAMIC TERROR - protesters are expected to gather outside his hotel"
16. HAHAHAHAHA
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (12.10.09)
We have a restaurant not far from here that advertises "One Nobel Peace Prize with every double taco salad and 2 drinks."
17. obama
sad ,   israel   (12.10.09)
the man is a bluff. of course he does not deserve the nobel prize. pere, rabin and arafat should return theirs. what kind of peace do we have here?????????????????????????????????whoever makes the decisions about who gets what award should think a bit more before rewarding a prize to someone not worthy of it. if there is NO candidate - don't just give the prize.............
18. nobel prize
asd ,   israel   (12.10.09)
obama is not worthy of anything. he should resign. he is only causing more damage to the world. whatever he "touches" - deteriorates.
19. Nobel Prize a big Joke
Brod ,   USA   (12.10.09)
This is a big joke for Obama. What the Eurabian is trying to do is fool the rookie in Washington and put him in their pocket so that they can manipulate him as their robot. If Obama were smart, he should not accept it. It is a joke. It is just a trick to turn him to be their slave.
20. D U H
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (12.10.09)
My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it. Barack Obama
21. to #14 rn't you forget some leaders?
ghostq   (12.10.09)
and Arafat also responsible on death of Israelis, so what is your point. the battle in deir yassin was part of 1948 war so stop complaining, jews were slaughtered in jerusalem that were under siege, Arab started that war and now you whine about it. and the place wasn't call dir yassin 1600 years ago I can asure you.
22. I am an American non-Jew and a Democrat and feel strongly
John J. Blat ,   Maryland, USA   (12.10.09)
that Obama does not deserve the Nobel Prize. He may in the future, I don't know. But for now, there is no justification on earth for giving it to him. It has just made the prize of lesser value (after it has lost a great deal of it when it was given to Yasser Arafat, standing there with human blood on his hands).
23. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.10.09)
I'll take your bet, and double it. In case you haven't noticed, Obama's popularity rating has dropped like a stone, and his approval rating is plummeting. Re-elected? Oh, I'll take that bet. Leash, you say? Hmm. Israel doesn't need American approval to take steps to ensure the safety and security of Israel. Remember the USS LIBERTY? Remember Entebbe? Remember Osirac? Remember the arms convoy in the Sudan? While it is always nice when American and Israeli interests coincide -- and they do, for the most part -- please do keep in mind that Israel is a sovereign state, and does not need anyone's permission or approval to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and security of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. You will recall, sir, that sixty-five of the passengers (the majority) taken hostage and brought to Entebbe carried United States passports. They were Jews, and even though the United States government did nothing to save them, well, Israel did. Leash, indeed. What planet are you living on?
24. obama ,unworthy, period!
OZ   (12.10.09)
this american president, has made a mockery of every american dogma as we all know it.his attempt to rewrite what america was founded of, and its values is eveident in his socialsit- policies, his apologies and bowing tours ,to ame a few. his winning the noble peace prize is a joke- we might just give him the heisman trophy for watching the superbowl on tv.... is it 2012 yet?
25. #1 Obama undeserving, but not anti-semite
Avinoam ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.10.09)
The Nobel peace prize is a joke. If it had any standards of course Obama would not get it for actions that he might make. Maybe Obama will prove himself deserving, maybe not. Those deciding the peace prize recipient are known for jumping the gun. For people interested in peace this is a dangerous practice. Arafat was a monster. When he received the prize prematurely it lost all its value. I don't agree with everything Obama does, but he is not an anti-semite. The worst one can say about him is that he may be naive.
26. Every body agrees
laughing at ,   Il   (12.10.09)
He doesnt deserve it onlythe arab world and UN will be happy for this political prize This is already insulting enough laughing at the public not with it :-( ver sad for those who once believed that this was really a noble and wholy honest prize
27. obama unworthy.
adir ,   israel   (12.10.09)
he did nothing to help peace. instead he coused more damage and soon USA will have to face those mistakes that the president they elected because hes color(they didnt wanted to be seen as racists...even if its mean to put one of the strongest weapons in a baby hands.) there is a difference between talk peace and actually do it.
