61. #43 Ever heard of a Pyrrhic victory?
Jake   (01.14.10)
Do you think Jewish lobby groups are going to continuing lobbying for non-recognition of Armenian Genocide? Do you think there will be future influential Jewish historians like Bernard Lewis who will write a sanitized version of Turkish history to make the Turks seem like civilized good guys? Think again.
62. Turkey does not belong in EU or NATO!
Slava ,   San Francisco, usa   (01.14.10)
Turkey is nothing but a dangerous liability for the West... An Islamist military state has no place in NATO. Turkey's bloody history of oppression and occupation and genocide speaks louder than their rhetoric.
63. OK, Israel apologized. Now what is Turkey doing for Haiti?
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (01.14.10)
Those selfish and mean Muslims wouldn't lift a finger to help infidels in life threatening conditions and Blacks on top of that. They care only about their fake honor
64. Ayalon
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (01.14.10)
Ayalon should be fired,he is either crazy or stupid,or maybe both, but Erdogan too was very rude when he attacked the president of Israel in public, just to please Iran and Hamas.
65. Marlene, Israel learned hubris is expensive...
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (01.14.10)
66. To the Israeli People!
Ismail Tunca ,   Brussels, Belgium   (01.14.10)
Dear Israeli Friends, I deplore the incident, but at the same time understand Israeli feelings towards elements of the childish Serie "Valley of Wolves"! We should forget this unfortunate incident, which doesn't serve our two nations, only playing in the hands of extremists. I hope for better & closer realtions between our two countries in the future.

Provide your sources or shut up. You are not the only one sounding stupid. You are making all of us sound stupid.
68. The ultimate humiliation belongs to Ayalon.....

69. Two different things
Ralph ,   NYC, USA   (01.14.10)
There has always been a sympathy for Jews within Turkish public opinion which has its grounds in history. Criticizing a private TV show is one thing (which I don't buy), criticizing a government policy on a proper diplomatic platform is also fine. It happens all the time, business as usual. But, why would you try to humilate a Turk with a childish act? That offends Turks' public opinion which is different than the governmental business and would have deeper consequences. No government could sustain a policy forever without public support. This act just strengthens the hand of hatred against Jews.,,and believe me any ordinary Turk on the street would prefer a Jew over an Arab anyday. One, who doesn't know this, doesn't know Turkey.

I think we're all waiting for YOUR sources. Name calling is not a good defense.
71. #67 ur making yourself look bad and u represent no one else
Yaniv ,   Israel   (01.14.10)
I did provide a verifiable source, namely the Hadith, whereas you did not supply any source. Again, I promised you the exact quote should you request it (politely), but you have not displayed interest, just whine and call people names. Why don't you follow your own advice and shut up if you have nothing to say.
72. @ 69 - Ralph.
Cagri ,   istanbul, Turkey   (01.14.10)
i certainly agree with your words, Erdogan's words, represent himself, and his goverment, Not The whole Turks. Erdogan and his party are Democratically elected, and i hope they will be GONE ASAP. Turkey is and will be a Democratic and Secular state forever. İ hope we will "export" a democratic Secular Regime even to İran. i am sure there are millions of people in IRAN that deserve much more Freedom than they have. Erdogan is Trying to make a public support for his thought against israel, that is not shared by millions of people. what Ayalon did, only helped Erdogan. No one Else.

74. who is sure about the truth?
mkst ,   TURKEY   (01.15.10)
Is there anyone who has ever researched the history books in distinct countries, recomended for elementary level students ? The two sides, always blames on each other in any platform as happens here, have diverse basic knowledge because of that diffirence. A vicious confliction cames into existance as a result of that indefiniteness. For years, people in greece, especially students have been imbued deliberately against turkey and vice versa. Additionally this situation can be generalised for muslims, christians and jewishs. the case of bringing discussions on a historical base, makes it hard to finalise.
