1. Lebanese Army? Or Hezbollah? Big difference!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (08.03.10)
The last time this happened, it wasn't the Lebanese army, but rather the rejectionist Hezbollah private army that was involved. In 2006 Hezbollah violated international law by launching an unprovoked military attack across the Israeli border, killing several IDF soldiers, and kidnapping and subsequently murdering other IDF soldiers. The Hezbollah aggression was followed with a violent war crimes of launching rockets at Israeli civilian targets. Is today's attack against Israel by the Lebanese Army? I very much doubt it. Hezbollah may be manned with Lebanese citizens, but it is funded and equipped by Iran and Syria, and refuses to swear allegiance to the legally and democratically elected government in Beirut. What we may have here today is more evidence of Hezbollah aggression and war crimes, in a bid to justify its existence and maintain instability in Lebanon.
2. They Are Coming....again
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (08.03.10)
A rocket fired from Gaza. A round fired from Lebanon. Missiles fired from Egypt. Iran will have a nuke. A fifth Palestinian column in Israel. Arab MK with no allegiance to Israel. The multi-pronged attack upon Israel is coming fed by a diseased philosophy of hate fed to entire Arab populations. When will we wake up and take matters into our own hands? Take complete ownership and possession of the West Bank. The Palestinian State is Gaza and we should no longer supply them with fuel, water, electricity , food or medical supplies for anything less than hard currency paid C.O.D. It is 70 years and the evil is again spooling up to come for us. They are warming up new nuclear ovens and the Arabs will dance like naked wood nymphs passing out sweet cakes at the slaughter again of Jews and the Jewish nation.
3. Here we go again
Stuart ,   Florida   (08.03.10)
So the IDF break the ceasefire by entering Lebanon to destroy a tree and shoot at the Leb army. Looks like the IDF want another humiliation at the hands of Hisbollah,
4. so palis start another war, mmm
ghostq   (08.03.10)
I guess hamas and co really don't like the idea of peace talks while they be left out on permenent agreement, like palis really going to respect any agrement they will claim they were riped off, but since palis enjoy this game so be it, just don't whine after ward with the poor me act. and no this isn't hezbulla it's the palis from lebanon, Hezbulla need more time and money from Asad Junior to fully estublish himself in lebanon.
5. ahh okay. So it's Hezbollah
Zvi   (08.03.10)
looking for a distraction from the Special Tribunal.
6. God Bless
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (08.03.10)
these young soldiers who defend the country against the evil around us!
7. New flare up
Debbie Richards ,   London   (08.03.10)
The Palestinians have been very clever. Evey time that Israel has responded to attacks their propganda has made sure that Israel is demonised to the point where she cannot defend herself. I think they believe that Israel wont respond because of fear of worldwide condmentation, well they are bloody well wrong.
8. Not again!!!!! :(
(08.03.10)
9. Hezz and Assad warned there would be war over Hariri trial
Yerushalmi ,   Jerusalem   (08.03.10)
...if Hezbollah are implicated. They stated this few days ago. They are prepared to drag Lebanon into another war just to cover their asses...
10. It is the Lebanese Army, not Hizballa.
lara ,   Australia   (08.03.10)
"During the past two months, every day we have Israeli planes entering Lebanese airspace," Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri. This is in violation of resolution 1701. These violations are reported almost daily in Lebanese news sources and include anti-aircraft fire if the warplanes fly too close to land. This never makes it to Ynet because it is not in Israels interests to report that the IDF provoke or do wrong. The Lebanese Army have intervened because the IDF are threatening the countries security. This time Israel cannot play the "terrorist" card and will regret its actions. Israel will suffer global outrage if this esculates to war. It is in Israels best interests to withdraw its troops from the border and keep out of Lebanons land, waters and airspace.
11. #10 There is NO difference
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (08.03.10)
Hezbollah & the Lebanese Army are one and the same. Why does an Iranian terrorist organization have any business in Lebanon to begin with other than to kill Jews? Lebanon was a garden spot until Arafat brought his Palestinians to Lebanon. The Palestinians have created havoc and chaos to every country that gave them succor. Now Hezbollah has Lebanon by the throat and they will wage war on srael and when Isreal retaliates, the "brave" Hezbollah fighters will run and hide while Lebanese civilians die. For Lebanon to be safe, the Lebanese must rise up and throw Hezbollah out.
12. It all started when the Israeli's fired back....
Eli Vardi ,   Jerusalem.Israel   (08.03.10)
13. FAILURE to defeat Hezbollah
Marcel ,   Florida   (08.03.10)
ISRAEL will pay a big price for this MAJOR BLUNDER of not defeating Hizbollah in 2006 by the political leadership in Jerusalem to please their Pimp Masters in Washington (same for Hamas in 2009) Turning over control of South Lebanon to the worthless UN was another major blunder from the losers and defeatists in power in Israel.
14. To #10
Johnny ,   Nazareth   (08.03.10)
You are a dummy as some christians who support the evil, filthy and God enemies Terrorists like Hizboullah, you should be ashamed of yourself. The Bible foresaw Israel's enemies, and also foresaw that the world would support the enemies of Israel and God. Joel 3: 1: For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2: I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. All these nations who are supporting the evil enemy of Israel will be punished....Real christians have the duty to support Israel. End Off Discussion.
15. Brian Cohen , Hezbollah is the Lebanese real army
Salma ,   Palestine   (08.03.10)
Please don't provoke them, otherwise, you will pay the price too high, as SAYED NASRALLAH promised . play cool "IDF" :)
16. to Lara
Jewel ,   Beirut   (08.03.10)
well said, the israelis provoked this incident by uprooting a tree from "The lebanese" territory
17. No more Lebanon picnicks for Israeli soliers!
Nour ,   One-State الدولة   (08.03.10)
News reports suggest the Israeli soldiers were cutting trees and installing cameras INSIDE Lebanese territory, and clearly outside Israel's blue line. Guess what folks, you've just signed up another sworn ennemy: The Lebanese army which is about waking up from its looong slumber.
18. # Partial view
norman ,   France, Eurabia   (08.03.10)
It s in violation of 1701 that Hezbollah is still armed and has positions in south Lebanon. Israel has not single a foot in the land nor the water of this poor Lebanon. If daily El Avir has to fly over Lebanon, that's simply because UNIFIL fail to do the job they are suppose to do. So Israel has to ensure the security of its country. NB If you think Israel will suffer "global outrage" i suggest you to visit Lebanon when the next war will begin ;-)))
19. A war just in time for Nasrallah and friends
Karinette ,   Netanya   (08.03.10)
Pretty much oakward how this incident occured and what are the main events that occured just before : -The TSL is about to incriminate Hezbolla's leaders in Hariri's murder -Hezbollah threatened Israel or Lebanon of a new war if this occurs -Assad said that chance for a war are increasing -By the end of last week four rockets were launched from hamasland -yesterday five or six rockets were launched to Eilat and Jordania -Abu Mazen is pressured for direct talks but clearly not willing to. A war just in time!
20. to #15 There will be a price to pay in
jason white ,   afula,israel   (08.03.10)
dead and wounded lebanese. They will not be able to hide behind the skirts of olmert the coward,or peretz the putz or an incompetent like halutz, nor will zippy the pin head be in power to help them. This time there will be no one left alive in so. lebanon or the pali refugee camps. syria and iran along with gaza will be depopulated permanently. And nasrallah will either be buried alive in his bunker or captured and buried alive in pig skin.
21. #17 So sad
norman ,   France, Eurabia   (08.03.10)

26. TO IDF and ISRAELI
Maroun ,   Lebanon   (08.03.10)
Guess what? we are not afraid from you, we are waiting the war. now we beleive that we can humilate the IDF. IDF welcome back to hell
27. #3, #16 actually
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (08.03.10)
Hate Israel if you want, but stick to reality. The IDF operated on what the UN and Lebanon recognize as Israeli territory, which happens to be north of the border fence that Olmert built. The reason for the Lebanese attack on Israel was because Ahmadinejad wants to humiliate the racist Obama.
28. to #26 than y did you started the entire thing
ghostq   (08.03.10)
the palis in your country shoot the rocket, they did it 3 days ago from Egypt, and killed by accident 2 Jordanian citizens, congra but your country is countroled by palis wishes.
