1. Let me guess ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.27.10)
.... another Zionist plot? Probably. Stuxnet has been far more destructive than the Iranians will admit; the NSA hasn't actually accused Israel of initiating the cyber attack, but computer experts in Europe and the United States are saying that the sophistication and sheer elegance (that's the word Falkenrath used) points only to Israel. I always enjoy being Jewish and having strong ties to Israel; some days I really, really, enjoy it. Using a computer virus to shut down Natanz and Bushehr and bring their centrifuges to a grinding halt? Sweet .....
2. Siemens' will work hard to eliminate their bugs
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (09.27.10)
Siemens' control systems flaws were at the heart of this virus and few have access to both hardware and software to create it. It maybe possible for Germany to track down on how the virus got there, since its an indirect attack on them.
3. NO WORRIES AT ALL........................
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.27.10)
Because,Sarah and Hal will no doubt tell us of Iran's incapability to retaliate. So,all of us should disregard this article.:)
4. The worm ONLY hit staff computers ???
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.27.10)
Come on guys from Busher, tell this b.s. to the Ape man, WE suspect that the worm has had a far bigger appetite...
5. Iran will retaliate...???
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.27.10)
The mad mullahs are scrambling to save their nuke program gone foul... Hopefully they will fail...!!! Hopefully they will be swept from power before they are able to put the pieces together again...
6. #1 sweeeeeeeeeeeet
Rob ,   Orangevale USA   (09.27.10)
I can dig it. I've been saying all along that we have surprises that will THWART the mullahs twisted dreams of world dominance. These people have no chance against the brain/actual power America and Israel possess when threatened or obstructed. It will get steadily worse for the common Iranian citizen with which we have no quarrel. Soon we will see where the 'common man' is, and deal with the situation as it arises. Shalom.
7. #3 Mahmood...stay tuned my ill informed, technologically
RichinBoston ,   Boston USA   (09.27.10)
deficient friend. This is but a shot across the bow. David slayed Goliath with a sling shot. Makes me wonder how Ahmedinejad's air defense control systems are doing? Hahaha.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.27.10)
According to the NSA, Iran's computers are under siege, and the worm has reached into and infected the software which operates Iran's hardware. You would think -- following Entebbe; Buenos Aires; Tunisia; Osirac; Syria and Sudan -- the Iranians would have recognized that Israel has an extremely long reach. One of the experts that appeared on ABC News said that the virus is replicating faster than any ever seen, and has entered the actual enrichment equipment (which are all computer-driven). Israel has computers that are faster than the Cray supercomputer (which Israel helped design, and is the fastest thing the NSA has). By contrast to Israel's hardware, Iran is stumbling along on old IBM 8088s! Even Siemens has said they cannot keep up with the virus' replication.

10. SARAH'S JOY WILL LAST....................#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.28.10)
Only for as long as it takes one to read her talk-back.In the next few days or so,she will have abondoned the thought of having rejoiced at what has been all this talk about the virus.Pose a challenge Sarah and you will withdraw into oblivion.
11. iranian retaliation?
andy ,   cannock   (09.27.10)
I think the Iranians were really clever, saw this coming and let loose preemptive retaliation. Something so absolutely, mindbogglingly devestating that it would wreck computers all over the western world, and have people and businesses everywhere in despair. They called it Vista!
12. The virus...
Quebec observer ,   Montreal, Canada   (09.28.10)
Concerning the so called virus, Iran will spend as much as possible on the Siemens-Nokia experts to get rid of it. Others are also lining up to get money like swedes, norwegians, french, austrians, british, and so on. Everything for mullah's money!

Hal ,   Usa   (09.28.10)
For once Mahmood you may be correct. The sad truth for Iran is that they have painted themselves so far into a corner that they have turned to the most ruthless businessmen on the plant, the Russians. do you really believe that the Russians are not aware of Iranian/Hezbonian involvement in Chechnya Mahmood? Some of the most vicious hackers come from Russia. The Russians will sell junk to the Iranians then blow it up in their faces only to send the repairmen to fix it. Good business practice eh Mahmood? That way they always make a buck. Having personal experience with Siemans building management systems Mahmood, I can tell you that the Germans are pretty good at sending the repairman to fix their flawed equipment under an expensive service contract asd well. In other words Mahmood, the Iranians will be bled dry by the choices they make and the people they have to deal with. In simpler terms Mahmood, it is far better to get a loan from a bank at a higher interest rate than to have to go to a loan shark, capice?
16. Is this something or what. Killing enemy in his own room....
Asher ,   NY,USA   (09.28.10)
If Israel is capable of this probably is very capable to reprogram the computers at a certain time to go against its original operations and make them to pay in the same way they were planning against Israel. They will fall in the same pit they are digging and will regret greatly of what they planned to do to Israel. In Hebrew they call it " measure for measure".
17. Iran's response
Sidney ,   New York   (09.28.10)
Iran has a very, very advanced military. It proved its advanced status by the speed with which it defeated Saddam's Iraq. It took only ten years. And Iran didn't actually win. But some advanced military tactics emerged from the Iran-Iraq lesson. Iran developed the technique of sending young boys walking across minefields to clear the way for the adult soldiers. Other than that, I can't really recall any new Iranian military inventions that reached the rest of the world since Saddam. Don't let that bother you. Just read what Mahmood says. Iran is capable of advanced military invention.
18. You make me proud Sarah B.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.28.10)
If Israel has proven itself capable of penetrating Iran's most secret nuclear installations with a computer virus, what on earth would make you think that Israel could not just as easily have penetrated Iran's military computers? Just imagine -- Iran launches something directed towards Israel, and Israel, controlling the Iranian computers, turns the launch around and drops it right on Teheran. Tee hee. Advanced military intervention? From Iran? Oh, I don't think so!
20. ***Sarah*** Thanks for Your information

I really must admit to have gained a LOT of inspiration out of this cyber attack... It looks pretty fine right now...!!!!

The worms may have penetrated the system, there are no indication whatsoever from Iran of any mishap. The IAEA,which includes some inspectors whose stand are biased and are of questionable characters have also reported normalcy in the Busher and other Nuclear activities. Coming to the air defence, well, what have you been waiting for for the last 5 years?Haha!!

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.28.10)
Oh, there is plenty of evidence from Iran. For starters, they actually have gone public with this, announcing that 45,000 computers have been affected. (For 45,000, probably read ten times that number.) Siemens cannot help -- they have already said that the virus is beyond their capacity to control or repair -- and Symantec, the anti-virus software giant (with offices throughout the world, including Israel) has said that the virus has penetrated through to the computer systems which control Iran's centrifuges and other hard-wired equipment. As promised by Israel, Iran's nuclear program has been stopped. Not by a cruise missile, but by a computer worm. And -- in case you want to know -- your nuclear program has been set back at least ten years, possibly forever. With no loss of human life. Just think -- no innocent civilians have died, yet your nuclear program has gone up in smoke, and the world is breathing a giant sigh of relief. On the bright side, perhaps you can turn all your "air defense missiles" into a children's playground. It would be a shame for all that metal to go to waste. Israel is pretty special. How do you like us now?

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.28.10)
Exactly. Iran has sown the wind; now they must reap the whirlwind. It would appear that a swarm of locusts is sitting atop the whirlwind. Hallelujah! Iran's nuclear program stopped without the loss of a single life. Great day in the morning, isn't it? Would you have preferred a more violent outcome? Too bad for you.

You guys should be thrilled! My friends Mehdi and Firouz in Teheran should be. This is a fantastic bit of news. Who cares who did it * wink* wink* Who would have thought......of such an option....? Just think, as Sarah B rightly points out ''With no loss of human life" Isn't that just one huge step for humanity? Haha!!!
