Brotherhood is always complex, look in your family. For example, I may have problems with my brother, especially when it comes to the heritage :) When I say that we Jews and Arabs are brothers I mean that we come originally from the same tribes living in the Arabian peninsula. Take a map of the middle east and look where Israel is located. Look at Avraham's journey from Ur to Canaan. Jews come certainly from tribes which decide to live according to other rules (the ones of the Torah) and separate themselves from the tribes around still living as pagan and for which murder, human sacrifices and robbery was a part of their natural behavior. Yes we are brothers,sometimes enemies sometimes friends like in Spain during the Golden Age. I am talking about muslims not about radical muslims who decided that we are their enemies, and consequently they became our enemies. But they are not all the muslims but a small part of them. When I see our history from a wider point of view I just remark that the biggest danger, the biggest suffering, came from Europe, not from Arab countries. But ust like in Europe, when the wave of the bigotry started, Jews were the first to suffer, brother or not they suffered pogroms too and over 600 thousand Jews were expelled from arab countries.
