Up until just 10 years ago the western nations were the most powerful on earth, by having their support Israel was very safe. And now just look at what is happening in the world. Countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia and Turkey has already caught up with them, militarily anyway. These countries economy are big and getting bigger all the time. If you read the news you will see that all these countries are Turkey’s friends now. This country’s economy makes up more than half of the world economy (GDP) And this is NOW. In 10-20 years just Turkey’s economy will be one of the largest in Europe and Middle East, and already has the biggest and powerful military in the area. As these countries get richer and stronger in the world, the western countries can only get poorer and weaker and less important. SO WAKE UP AND SORT OUT YOUR PROBLEMS WITH THE TURKS. AFTER ALL YOU BEEN FRIENDS FOR A LONG TIME. DO NOT RUIN AND LOSE THAT FRIENDSHIP WITH THE TURKS. TURKS ARE NOT ASKING FOR THE WORLD, JUST ADMIT YOUR MISTAKE AND APPOLOGIZE AND LIVE IN PEACE. 20 YEARS TIME, YOU WILL REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU NEED A FRIEND IN THE MIDDLE EAST. Do you really believe that Turkey is doing this U-turn in her STRATEGIC FOREIGN POLICY because of something unimportant like a missing apology? This 'flotilla incident' is only an excuse for their actions. Turkey and most/all other Muslim countries don't care about the Palestinians. These regimes use the conflict to gain advantages for their own (mostly domestic) policy and therefor keep spilling oil into the fire - e.g. by sending flotillas.

1.Israel has many many other close allies that include the growing India as well as others such as Georgia (not to mention USA!). The relations with China are also growing, if you look into it you will see Israel is one of the largest arms exporter to china. 2. You overestimate turkey, their crazy birth rate isn't enough to lunch their economy from nothing. 3. apologise or national pride? And remember turkey is still a country that is one of Iran's best friends, made new friends with Syria and Hezbollah not to mention Hamas. 4. When you say 'arab countries' take to note that a majority of the arabs hate Iran and hate Hamas so they now also hate turkey- their new best friend. Jordan for example hates crazy Iran more then they hate Israel. Infact its a common enemy. 5.Cutting the turkish alliance also have some good sides in out point of view: we can finaly answer to the question of 'do you recognise the armanian genoside', we can make better friends with Greece, Armania and also upcoming Kurdistan. As for the Turks we have an alliance with the secular turks and the rest of the non-radical ones. The rest of them is like making allies with Iran, why the hell would we want that?
